FESTIVAL YUL EAT CELEBRATES ITS 5TH ANNIVERSARY!

Festival YUL EAT is the destination of choice for epicureans, gourmets and culinary creativity enthusiasts. It offers a spectacular setting for discovering as well as enjoying food and alcohol prepared by local talents, highlighting Montreal as a gastronomical epicentre. Building on its success while showcasing the city as a major player on the scene, the festival invites patrons to connect with the chefs and artisans, pushing the refined experience to a unique level. Festival YUL EAT is proud to celebrate 5 years of bringing fans of the culinary arts and local cuisine together, presenting a new concept that will delight food lovers.

Featuring:

• The Redpath Market, where products from 20 passionate Quebec producers and artisans will be available to discover.

• The Redpath Market stage, where chefs and artisans, including Pasquale Vari (ITHQ), Adrien Renaud (Foodlab), Amine Nasrallah (Montréal Plaza), Marc-André Cyr (Le goût du grain) and Maxime Delmont (Rosélys), will present culinary demonstrations and mini-conferences about local food and issues related to local culinary art.

• The Creemore Springs Biergarten, a terrace with picnic tables where festival-goers will be able to relax, enjoy a refreshing beer from the Creemore Springs and Granville Island Brewing bars, taste Canadian whiskies assembled in Quebec and a seasonal cocktail at Crown Royal bar, and sip a cocktail or a glass of wine at the YUL EAT bar.

• Three food kiosks and three food trucks (cash).

• Free tastings from our partners: Gold Peak iced tea, bites with Boursin cheese and Avocados From Mexico, as well as demonstrations of Doyon Després products.

Plus a new special event:

YUL eatDestination Caraïbes – a festive evening with a tropical touch!

Destination Caraïbes will be held on Friday September 14th, from 8pm to midnight. Admission price: $15 (taxes and fees included). Food and drinks available at affordable rates, sold on-site through a couponing system.

The atmosphere will be particularly tropical on the third floor of the Société des arts technologiques (SAT), including the Satosphère (dome)! On the menu: small authentic Caribbean dishes, a rum bar and tasty cocktails, a DJ and percussionists. An evening to celebrate and showcase the gastronomy, the cocktails and the music of the well-established Caribbean community and culture in Montreal.

Participating in that evening: Agrikol, Kwizinn and Local Jerk restaurants, Bouillon de saveurs and Les délices de Patrice caterers, member of collectives Oasis MTL and 5 Starz DJ Don Barbarino. In collaboration with our partners: Creemore Springs, Baileys, Tanqueray, Les viandes duBreton and Les aliments Roma.
