Maz Jobrani

Maz Jobrani can currently be seen starring in the CBS sitcom Superior Donuts, opposite Jermaine Fowler, David Koechner, Katey Sagal, and Judd Hirsch. Maz’s first original Netflix standup special Immigrant was filmed at the Kennedy Center and is currently available for streaming. He has also put out 3 other solo specials on Showtime including: Brown and Friendly, I Come in Peace, and I’m Not a Terrorist, But I’ve Played One on TV. In the spring of 2016, he performed at the White House where he had the privilege of introducing Michelle Obama. He was a founding member of The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour, which aired on Comedy Central in 2007. Maz starred as the title character in the award-winning indie comedy, Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero, a film which he co-wrote and co-produced and is now available on all major outlets online. He has co-starred in many films including Disney’s, Descendants, Sydney Pollack’s The Interpreter, and Ice Cube’s Friday After Next. With over 50 guest star appearances, Maz can regularly be seen on television’s most popular shows. Guest stars include Grey’s Anatomy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, True Blood, and Shameless. He is a regular panelist on NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me and has given 2 TED Talks. His LA Times Best Selling Book, I’m not a terrorist But I’ve Played One on TV, was published by Simon & Schuster. Maz executive produced Everything Must Change, a documentary about his sister’s battle with breast cancer which is currently available on iTunes.

Gina Brillon

Actress, comedian, and writer Gina Brillon was born and raised in Bronx, New York. She’s been a standup comic since she was 17 years old. Her first one hour special, ‘Pacifically Speaking, was produced by Gabriel Iglesias and debuted on NuvoTV this past fall. Gina has a featured role in Gabriel Iglesias’ theatrical film, The Fluffy Movie. She’s made appearances on E!’s Chelsea Lately, AXS’ Gotham Comedy Live, The View, and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Gina is the first Latina winner of NBC’s 2012 Stand up for Diversity Showcase. She is also an accomplished singer, published writer, and poet. Her pieces have appeared in the New York Post and Daily News among others. Gina is currently developing scripted content for Broadway Video’s new digital studio Mas Mejor with Horatio Sanz, as well as a scripted network pitch based around her life and comedy.

Orny Adams

Orny Adams delivers a powerful, incisive stand-up routine that vacillates between the relevant and the absurd. Orny attacks what’s wrong with the world and sometimes even what’s wrong with Orny. He’s brutally honest, satirical and his performance is ceaselessly energetic. Orny has had one hour stand up specials on Netflix, Comedy Central and his third special More Than Loud is airing now on Showtime. Orny has appeared all over television, most notably on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman and The Conan O’Brien Show. And you might also recognize him as Coach from the TV show Teen Wolf which ran for six seasons.

Francisco Ramos

Francisco Ramos recently shot an HBO stand-up special Entre Nos that will air summer 2018. Most recently, he was a top-ten finalist on Last Comic Standing 2015 and continues to flourish as an actor and voice-over artist in addition to touring as a stand-up comic across North America. He has appeared in Showtime’s Shameless, Angie Tribeca from executive producer Steve Carell, Netflix’s Lady Dynamite, and voicing the role of Marmoset in the animation film RIO with Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg. He has also appeared on the hilarious @midnight on Comedy Central and on Jimmy Kimmel Live on numerous occasions. Early in his career, Francisco was selected to perform in the CBS Multicultural Diversity Showcase, where he was one of 12 selected from a pool of 5,000 applicants. Having won first place in the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival sponsored by NBC/COZI TV, American Latino produced a documentary on Francisco on his rise as a comic for Latino Out Loud (LOL).

Matteo Lane

Matteo Lane is a New York-based comedian, originally from Chicago. Lane is in the new Comedy Central series The Comedy Jam, and also recently recorded a 50 minute Netflix special and has performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers and Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party. He can also be seen on MTV’s Girl Code and MTV2’s Guy Code, and the IFC holiday special At Joe’s Pub alongside Tony Hale and the Dap Kings. Lane is also currently developing an IFC digital series that he will both write and star in, and an animated project with Titmouse. In 2014, Lane was selected to be a New Face at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Before starting stand-up, Lane lived in Italy as an oil painter and opera singer.

Loyiso

Loyiso is a very high profile South African stand-up, with 12 seasons of his two-time International Emmy nominated satirical news show Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola under his belt, and is the African correspondent for The Weekly on the ABC in Australia. CNN featured Loyiso on their profile series, African Voices.  Loyiso completed a run of his show Tall Tales at London’s Soho Theatre in 2015. The following year, he contributed to This Week’s World (BBC2), and stormed Mock the Week (BBC2) before bringing his show Dude, Where’s My Lion? to Edinburgh. Loyiso rounded off an action-packed 2016 with his debut US stand up special Loyiso Gola Live in New York, which was recorded in Brooklyn; it was released by Vimeo Originals in November 2016 and launched at the prestigious New York Comedy Festival. In 2017, Loyiso headed down under to Sydney and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, receiving rave reviews. He performed on the Melbourne International Comedy Gala in aid of Oxfam, on Comedy Up Late on ABC, as well as at the Perth Comedy Festival. Loyiso has previously appeared here at Just For Laughs in the Sugar Sammy International Galas, as well as on LOL Live as part of Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Network. Loyiso performed his new show, Unlearning, at the Edinburgh Fringe last summer to critical acclaim.
