After collaborating with such major names as John Zorn, Jennifer Charles and Iggy Pop, New York composer Jamie Saft conceived of his project Solo A Genova during a visit to Italy. Seated at his piano, Saft covers and re-imagines songs by a dozen legendary artists who revolutionized music, from Bob Dylan to Miles Davis.

Ranked as the world’s largest jazz festival by Guinness World Records, the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal has been synonymous with a passion for music for close to four decades.
