Orchestre symphonique de Montréal presents

Le diable en canot d’écorce

The night before Christmas, in an isolated lumber camp where the winter is harsh and devoid of comfort, one would give anything for a few hours of pleasure. And when a mysterious character offers a tantalizing bit of amusement, it is hard to resist. Magic and mystery mingle in this Quebec folk tale revisited by Michel Tremblay and staged by René Richard Cyr, where music conjures up the scenery with works from the folk and symphonic repertoires.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see Laurent Paquin, a “[… ] comedian of almost unexpected sensitivity, [who provided]  one the evening’s emotional high points.” (Journal de Montréal), in the great Christmas tale tradition at the OSM.
