Canada just can’t get enough of Midnight Oil! The iconic Australian rock band and agitators announced they’re headed back to the Great White North this summer for an encore of special performances on The Great Circle 2017 World Tour.

Midnight Oil’s highly anticipated return to Canada follows nearly a 15 year hiatus and a career spanning love affair with Canadian music fans and Canadian culture. Their absence did not go unnoticed with over 250,000 tickets sold within days of “The Great Circle” World Tour being announced; that includes sold-out dates in Vancouver and Toronto. Now, they’re gearing up for even more shows with announced dates in Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Calgary.

The band will be joined by rocker Matthew Good on all of the Canadian dates. Good is one of Canada’s preeminent voices in music today. In the 20 years since the release of his debut album he has been prolific in his output. His studio albums have combined for nearly one million albums sold in Canada alone and he has been nominated for an incredible 21 JUNO Awards.
