Lukas Geniušas, piano

Born in 1990, in Moscow, into a family of musicians, Lukas Geniušas won prizes in prestigious European and North-American competitions, all before he was 20 years old. He has since performed in France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Poland, Lithuania, Russia, Japan, South Korea and the U.S.A. Pro Musica presents Geniušas debut recital in Québec. This young prodigy beautifully incarnates the greatest qualities of the Russian tradition: immaculate technique, total commitment, and unsurpassed sensitivity in the interpretation of romantic music.
