Kent Nagano, Pinchas Zukerman & Chariots of Fire!

In August, when the whole world is caught up in the spirit of the Olympics, with all eyes riveted on Rio de Janeiro, the OSM’s 30-concert marathon will break out of the starting gate with the heroic Chariots of Fire. Then, following a performance of Milhaud’s jazz-accented ballet La création du monde, internationally acclaimed violinist Pinchas Zukerman will take on Bruch’s passionate First Concerto. A flying start to a thrilling edition of the Classical Spree Festival!

Classical SpreeThe 5th edition of the OSM Classical Spree Festival is a grand celebration of classical music, where great international masters meet a new generation of rising talent, performing work by composers of yesterday and today. With a colourful offering of more than 30 concerts over 4 days, the possibilities are nearly endless.
