Musicians from the Royal 22^nd Regiment revisit musical themes of fictional heroes from movies and video-games

This year’s fireworks season starts with a display that is quite unique and sure to please people of all ages. Welcome to the musical world of fictional heroes featured in some of the most popular movies and video-games. This fun and unique pyromusical display brings to life the imagery and personalities of our favourites fictional figures – from superheroes Superman and Batman to larger-than-life movie characters like Indiana Jones, Rocky, Simba from the Lion King. Plus the mythical characters of Star Wars, and video game stars Mario Bros and Zelda. The fireworks production is a joint creation of Apogée and the musicians of the Royal 22nd Regiment, who have reinvented those musical movie and video-game themes in collaboration with L’International. This is a first participation for Apogée, a firm founded in 2001 by Alain Carbonneau whose pyromusical performances have mesmerized crowds around the world since 1995, namely in Shanghai, Berlin, Monaco, the Philippines.

La Ronde proudly presents the 32^nd edition of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec. In keeping with the tradition, this year’s edition is a succession of world-class displays. From July 2 to 30, on Saturday and Wednesday nights, Montreal’s sky will light up with outstanding fireworks displays by some of the greatest pyrotechnic artists of the world.
