A great finish for a terrific year in Real Estate! Philip Clement January 28, 2016 7979 Dear Montrealers, What a great end to terrific year in Real Estate! Not only did all my primary markets outperform previous years in number of sales and average selling prices. But on a personal level, I also had my most successful year to date, with many new clients and acquaintances. I would like to take the time to thank each one of them for having trusted me with their most important investments. With a lot of pride, I am happy to announce that 2015 has proven to me that I have found a career that fits me as an individual. When I started in sales at Bell in my early twenties I enjoyed helping people by offering them goods and services. Before long I found myself wanting to help people with more important decisions, more meaningful decisions. My loyalty and my efforts are genuine; I love working with people, helping them make the most important decisions of their lives. The sales I concluded in 2015 where nice, but the kind words my clients shared with me with their satisfaction warmed my heart. To know more about my work ethics, or to learn why my clients give me their confidence, feel free to contact me to help sell or buy your home. Montreal West I would like to take a moment to review in detail the Montreal West market. In this market we have sold 50 homes last year, versus 30 in 2014. And the average selling price has also increased by 10%, bringing the average over $600K. Considering the very warm fall season we just had, we ended the year with 8 sales in November and 3 in December. Not bad for a community with only 1,800 homes. Notre Dame de Grace The NDG market remains a strong and stable market. Year after year homeowners can expect a steady appreciation in property value with a predictable number in sales throughout the year. Why wouldn’t you want to live near Monkland Village with its many trendy stores and restaurants? Or live Westmount Adjacent just a few steps from Victoria Village. NDG! A beautifully-aged community with architectural delight, and centuries of charm. Thank you all for the time you have taken to read my columns. Happy New Year, and I look forward to speaking with you with regard to your real estate needs. The Spring Market begins near the end of January, if you are planning on selling or buying your home; the time to prepare is now. I am just a phone call away. Philip Clement, 514-708-4056
