A free event on several weekends with a huge variety of winter activities*! Ziplines, tube sliding, sled dog tours, skating, shows, music and much more!
*Some pay activities.
Weekends only. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays (some activities may run later) and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

                    First weekend – January 16-17                    

Saturday
Caillou
2 p.m.
The little boy who has been able to capture the hearts of millions of families throughout the province of Québec with his enthralling adventures and his overflowing imagination, will be performing for and meeting his fans.

DJ Jimmy Rancourt
4:30 p.m.
An inventive, enthusiastic and versatile artist, Jimmy Rancourt has been performing in a show setting for more than 15 years, through the pure joy of musical discovery and exploration.

La Guerre des Tuques 3D
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Youngsters can discover the joys of playing outdoors thanks to an activities zone depicting LA GUERRE DES TUQUES 3D, the engaging comedy that delivers a message of hope and friendship.

Live ice sculpturing on the La Presse+ stage
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Four times a day, spectators will be fascinated by the performances of Laurent and Nicolas Godon, a pair of professional ice sculptors.

Aérobouge with Boule de Neige and his friends
11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Aerobics courses with upbeat music to get people of all ages moving.

Montreal firefighters
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Montreal fire safety department, division of public education, will be putting on many activities in conjunction with their mission to prevent fires and educate the public. Workshops, inflatable games and entertainment will be featured on the site for the pleasure of people of all ages.

1 p.m.
Enter the Bain de neige CKOI snowbath contest in collaboration with SUNWING.ca, for a chance to win a trip for two to Memories Paraiso in Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba, a prize worth approximately $3,000.

Winter Expedition
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Five professional adventure tourism guides will give you advice on how to tame winter and inspire you by presenting their personal achievements, including the crossing of Montreal – Kuujuuak by cross country skiing. (This is nearly 2000 kilometers!) A story of perseverance to achieve dreams!

Fête des neigesTube slide and Disco-tube
This famed slide is known for its 10 lanes, including two “Superglisses”, slides that are an extra 6 metres high on the mountain. Sliding enthusiasts can also go down the hill in the “Trippante”, a four-seater tube. Once it gets dark, it’s Disco-tube party time, featuring light shows, music mixed by DJ Jimmy Rancourt and great entertainment!

An initiation to dog sleds, just five minutes from downtown? Yes, this actually exists! Accompanied by a guide, two or three people can be seated on the sled.
Packages “Initiation VIP” and “Apprenti-Musher” offered by Écorécréo. (Reservations are mandatory)

 

Fête des neigesZip-line
The zip-line, the highest mobile tower in the world, provides you with the opportunity to soar on the four downhill cables. The two smaller cables are 8 metres high and 110 metres long, while the highest ones are set up 15 metres high and runs over a distance of 200 metres. Children aged two years and older can do the activity in tandem with a parent.

The Ferris wheel offers visitors a terrific view of downtown Montréal and the Fête des neiges site. But go early! This activity is only available during the first three weekends of the Fête, January 16 to January 31.

 

Giant foosball
The conventional foosball table turns into a human-scale one. Take the place of a soccer player and be a part of this fun-filled game.

Boot hockey and soccer on snow are featured.

Bing Bang Bulle
A 2015 favourite, turn yourself into a “human bubble ball” and play soccer on snow or get involved in a friendly wrestling match.

Skaters’ path
A magnificent refrigerated and lighted ice path offers skaters a great view of downtown Montréal. There will be music and outdoor braziers to warm you up.

Zone petites pattes Naître et grandir
The charming Bourgade Nordique village is the favourite area for tiny tots because of its mini-car circuit and its little houses for children aged 6 and under. Come meet the silly penguins and you can also meet the Naître et grandir squad from the Fondation Lucie et André Chagnon, which is always ready to amuse youngsters!

The great ice slide
This four-lane slide, which is 16 metres long and four metres high, will be loads of fun for sliding enthusiasts.

1, 2, 3, go! Join your family and friends and share the joys of winter in scooting along the snow-covered trail.

Take part in this epic sponge-ball battle and conquer the opposing team’s fort!

Zone Télé-Québec
Crawl, jump, slide, climb into the world of your favourite characters and make your way through the Salmigondis’ Hide and Seek labyrinth.

Atelier des petits doigts
An invitation to budding artists. Come and showcase your sculptural talents with real blocks of snow, which will then be exhibited as a work of art.

Cirque polaire
The Grand Cirque polaire, a polar circus, is back again with its assortment of colourful characters. There are several shows per day and the circus bears offer a variety of workshops.

Écorécréo Cross-country ski trail
The cross-country ski trails, at the beginner level, are the perfect solution for anyone seeking to be introduced to this sliding sport.

The Stewart Museum invites you to take a trip into the 19th century for an introduction to old-fashioned curling on a real outdoor curling rink.
