Julian Kuerti’s second concert of the season brings together three musical versions of this important work exploring forbidden love, jealousy and secrecy. Whether composed for the theatre or in the form of a symphonic poem, the music inspired by this beautiful story hauntingly explores the contrast between dark and light.
