Violin Virtuosi – May 21, at St. George’s Church LiveEvents May 17, 2014 3007 Israël Connection series presents Violin Virtuosi The Israel Connection series continues with Tchaikovsky Competition winner, Israeli violinist Itamar Zorman who joins colleague Giora Schmidt for a virtuoso evening of violin chamber music. They will play two sonatas: one by Leclair (No. 5) and the other by Prokofiev (Op. 56). With pianist Suzanne Blondin, they will perform brilliant works by Moszkowski and Sarasate. Itamar recently won the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Scholarship and appears regularly as soloist with major orchestras. Giora is an Avery Fischer Award artist and Festival regular.
