Orchestre Métropolitain presents

Summer Rhythms

The OM and their artistic collaborator Naomi Woo invite you to a lively summer concert. The music will take us on a journey and make us dance through different countries and eras, with ever more captivating rhythms!

In one evening, the orchestra brings you from the Viennese court with a waltz by Strauss to a Gypsy caravan with Brahms’ Hungarian Dances, to the scorching heat of Spain with Manuel De Falla. Then, we are swept into the bustling streets of New York with Bernstein and into the Quebec countryside with a dance by Claude Champagne.

This musical program connects diverse cultures, painting a picture where each piece and each nation brings a unique color. The love of music and dance transcends all borders, bringing together people from all walks of life, just as this concert brings families and neighbors together in a park in their neighborhood for an unforgettable summer evening.
