Maestro Boris Brott

Honorary Gala Presidents Marie Christine Tremblay and Jacques Marchand cordially invite you to commemorate the life, legacy, and vision of one of Canada’s greatest arts visionaries and conductors: Maestro Boris Brott.

Boris Brott was the beating heart of the Orchestre Classique de Montréal, a renowned leader in the world of classical music in North America and beyond, a mentor to countless young musicians, and a very dear friend to so many.

The OCM remains dedicated to the highest musical ideals of its founders, Alexander and Lotte Brott, ideals that were furthered with passion and determination by our dearest Maestro Brott. They will continue to make great music and to touch the hearts of people, inspired by Boris’ standards of excellence, his indomitable spirit, his dedication to sharing his musical gifts with people from all walks of life, and by his love for humanity.

The Orchestre classique de Montréal’s 2022 benefit gala will take place on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 6:00pm in the Picasso Ballroom of the Sofitel Montréal Golden Mile Hotel. The Gala will be hosted by Sonia Benezra, a well-known Quebec TV host and actor, and will feature great artists such as violinist Marc Djokic, pianist Jean-Philippe Sylvestre, singer Sharon Azrieli, and the musicians of the OCM.
