Born in Colombia but based in Montreal for the past decade, Ramon Chicharron expresses his love for his roots through his music. Combining Afro-Colombian cumbia, salsa funk and champeta with trombone and psycho-tropical guitar melodies, this artist creates a fusion he has termed “cumbia chicharronica.”
