Festival de BD de Montreal / Montreal Comic Arts Festival

The 6th edition of the Montreal Comic Arts Festival (MCAF – FBDM) will takes place at Espace La Fontaine, in the heart of La Fontaine Park.

Guests are invited to explore les BD (bandes dessinées, or comic strips) with a wide variety of authors and members of the community. The Festival BD de Montreal is a meeting place for professional cartoonists showcasing the diversity of the “ninth art.” Several free activities are on the programme, including theatrical improvisations, performances, family undertakings, and much more, all themed around the comic strip genre.

With enchanting décor, sun cream or rain hats, under the big tent or the open space of Espace La Fontaine, the Festival is:
– More than 130 Quebec and international authors
– More than 40 exhibitors
– Exhibitions of original works
– Events and activities for all
– Free

Friday, May 26th: 1 pm to 7 pm
Saturday, May 27th: 10 am to 6 pm
