Julian Kuerti and the Orchestre Métropolitain will present two Western visions of Middle-Eastern exoticism with symphonic delights inspired by the famous tale One Thousand and One Nights. French composer Ravel can count on the exceptional Canadian mezzo-soprano Michèle Losier to deliver a wonderful performance, while Russian composer Rimsky-Korsakov will see the Orchestre Métropolitain depict his symphonic suite with all the exaltation associated with legendary music.
