Chef Jean-Michel Leblond

Chef Jean-Michel Leblond

Chef Jean-Michel Leblond, aka. John Mike, is the official spokesperson for Cabane Panache 2025! Owner of the Tripes & Caviar restaurant on Promenade Wellington from 2013 to 2016, he’s been holding Verdun and Rue Wellington close to his heart ever since! You can catch him on his own ”chef John Mike” show on Zeste or listen to his latest EP Good to the Bone on streaming platforms.

He embodies the very essence of the event, and will bring his energy and passion to the biggest maple and wood party in town! Yeehaw!

“Verdun has always held a special place in my life, both personally and professionally. I had the honor of being part of it with my first restaurant Tripes et Caviar, and today it’s with great emotion that I become associated with this event that celebrates culinary art, culture and community. I’m convinced that the 13th edition of Cabane Panache will be an extraordinary experience, and I’m proud to be a part of it.” – Jean-Michel Leblond

Dance to some sweet sweet music!

This year, Cabane Panache, in collaboration with Quai 5160 – Maison de la culture de Verdun, has put together a festive musical program that’s 100% free and 100% local, to celebrate Quebec culture and its many heritages!

In addition to a host of musical talents performing across the site on the Forêt Fizz Stage and the Ici Pneu Touchette Stage, nine artists from all over the province will take to the main stage to warm your body and heart over the four days of the festival. Let’s get the music pumping and the company swinging!

Get ready to feast!

18 Verdun restaurateurs will be cooking up Quebec-style dishes and bites especially for the occasion, for the unique price of $6 or $8. Whether you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth or indulge in original culinary creations, the eaterie has something for everyone!

Good to know: All restaurant containers, utensils and taffy sticks on camp will be compostable!
Pro tip: Not a fan of eating with a wooden fork? Bring your own utensils to the event!
