Comedian Atsuko Okatsuka – January 29, 2025 LiveEvents January 20, 2025 73 ATSUKO OKATSUKA Okatsuka is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who earned the admiration of her peers with her unique brand of stand-up comedy. Following the success of her first comedy tour and HBO special THE INTRUDER, Atsuko Okatsuka’s current global tour, THE FULL GROWN tour, has performed to sold out theaters in 56 cities in 12 countries. In 2018, Vulture Magazine featured her in their “38 Comedians You Should and Will Know,” report, calling her comedy a “pretty perfect distillation of the Japanese-American experience delivered as succinct observations in a cool, calm, collected manner.” In addition to her standup career, she had two films debut at the Tribeca film festival: ALL THAT WE LOVE directed by Yen Tan and GROUP THERAPY directed by Neil Berkely and produced by Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat productions.
