For this Christmas concert, Isabelle Boulay will perform songs such as Le sentier de neige and White Christmas, as well as classics like L’enfant au tambour and Petit papa Noël.

Born July 6, 1972 in Sainte-Félicité, Quebec, Isabelle Boulay is an international star. Holder of 19 Félix awards and 2 Victoires de la Musique, she holds the record, with Céline Dion, for the Quebec singer having most often won the prestigious Félix for Female Performer of the Year, 7 times.

From 1995-98, French Canadian music executive Luc Plamondon tapped her for a lead role as Marie-Jeanne in a re-boot of the rock opera “Starmania” that he wrote and produced in Paris with Michel Berger. Boulay released her first albums in 1996, 1998 and 2000 and proceeded to win a number of Canadian music awards (Félix, Juno). The 2000 album, “Mieux qu’ici-bas” (Better Than Here Below), brought wide recognition in countries with francophone populations (Quebec, France, Belgium, Switzerland).

Recently, Isabelle Boulay received the following distinctions in recognition of all of her work: the insignia of Knight of the Order of the Pléiade as well as the distinction of Knight of the National Order of Quebec.
