Sema, the Paths to Ecstasy

Specially created for the 25th Festival du Monde Arabe by whirling dervish Tanya Evanson, this show takes the audience on a mystical journey carried on a whirlwind of grace and light.

Backed by a musical ensemble blending Persian and Arabian styles, Tanya Evanson’s and Shraddha Blaney’s divine dance depicts the fervent embrace of eternal Love.
