The “Living Together” Festival!

The Afromonde festival, focused on the theme “Mon héritage, Mon délire”, combines tradition and modernity in the celebration of Afro cultural diversity. On two stages, it offers a range of activities including music, comedy, fashion, visual arts, conferences and gastronomy, paying tribute to this rich culture.

A major annual cultural event in Montreal, the AfroMonde Festival, celebrates diversity and multiculturalism with the participation of several countries. At the heart of this event, the enhancement of Afro culture in connection with other cultures of the world is a major objective. Afro art is magnified through contemporary representations, sometimes imbued with an Afro-futurist aesthetic. At the same time, the festival is committed to promoting diversity by highlighting local artists from diverse backgrounds, while raising awareness on issues related to intolerance, discrimination and racism.

AfroMonde, presents itself as a cultural melting pot, merging traditions, urban music, fashion, technology, visual arts and gastronomy. It thus promotes a collective dialogue and a mix of rhythms, offering a diversity of artistic forms. This festive and artistic dynamic stimulates the feeling of belonging to a multicultural community, making the AfroMonde Festival a unifying event, carrying values of inclusion and celebration of diversity.
