Festival de Lanaudière 2024 presents

L’heure Exquise

Nineteenth century musicians, novices, and connoisseurs gathered in salons to share their common love of poetry and music.

Seeking to recreate the intimate atmosphere of these events, Olivier Bergeron and Chloé Dumoulin, two rising stars of classical music, give a heartfelt concert to mark the 150th anniversary of Reynaldo Hahn’s birth as well as the 100th anniversary of Gabriel Fauré’s death.

Artists

Originally from Montreal, Olivier Bergeron made his professional debut as a soloist at the age of 16 in the role of the Younger Brother in Dead Man Walking at the Opéra de Montréal.

After his studies at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, he was invited by François Le Roux to take part in the Certificat Spécialisé de Mélodie Française at l’École normale de musique de Paris.
