Orchestre Philharmonique du Québec presents

A Tribute to Ennio Morricone

Be the actors of this movie night where you can revel in the notes behind iconic composer Ennio Morricone’s everlasting fame.

Conductor and soloist Alexandre Da Costa and the musicians of the Orchestre Philharmonique du Québec will awaken your memories with works by the mystical and eclectic artist like The Mission, Cinema Paradiso, Once Upon a Time in America, Once Upon a Time in the West, La Califfa, Léon: The Professional, My Name Is Nobody, as well as the powerful score of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

An enormous symphonic production with orchestra and guest artists Klara Martel-Laroche and Michaël Girard, led by the virtuosic Alexandre and his Stradivarius “Deveault” 1701.

Martin Léon – inspired composer, author, arranger and music producer – will host this evening. He has shared his life between song, travel and film music for several years. He studied film music composition with the great Ennio Morricone. We owe him the music for nearly 20 feature-length fiction films, including 4 plots for his accomplice Philippe Falardeau.
