Théotime Langlois de Swarte & Le Consort

A Journey Through Baroque Europe

Théotime Langlois de Swarte and Le Consort give us the Grand Tour through Italy, England, Germany, and France, illuminating the creative and expressive ingenuity of several great Baroque-era masters.

Artists
Le Consort

The ensemble, dedicated to baroque music, was formed in Paris in 2015. Made up of two violins, a cello and a harpsichord, Le Consort has already developed numerous projects and collaborations and is considered “one of the major players in the French baroque scene” (Diapason, October 2019).

Théotime Langlois de Swarte, violin

Théotime Langlois de Swarte is a passionate and eclectic violinist, whose repertoire extends from the 17th century to contemporary creation. He was nominated for the 2020 Classical Music Victories in the “Instrumental Soloist Revelation” category where he represented the baroque violin for the first time. He performs all over the world in prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Shanghai National Art Center and the Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles.
