Lakeshore Kiwanis – a sure bet for over 65 years

Kiwanis International was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1915. The original motto “We Build”, later changed to “We serve the Children of the World” and remains our motto today.

The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore Montreal was founded on May 21, 1958, we are members of the Eastern Canada and Caribbean district with some 250 clubs, and a very large world wide network of close to 500,000 members strong!

Our focus is to put children first and to support service projects in the community, all in the spirit of altruistic camaraderie. In over 65 years through our Club and later with our Foundation, we have given not only millions of dollars but also millions of volunteer hours to benefit children and others in need.

When I say we, I mean you and everyone who has played a part in helping kids all these years. We extend a huge heartfelt thank you for allowing us to stand on your shoulders!

As we embark on our next 65 years, we can only continue to achieve success with the ongoing involvement of our members and friends at the base, our community as our field of action, and our member organizations to serve the children.

Following our most successful Holiday Nuts and Cakes Campaign to close out last year, we have big plans for this new year!

Save the Date for a swinging good time, help celebrate our 25^th Annual Golf Tournament on June 18 at the magnificent Atlantide Golf Course in Ile Perrot.

A night at the casino! Save the Date for our inaugural Charity Casino Night coming up on April 30.  We are betting on your continued support for the kids!
