AFROMONDE CARNIVAL – August 20th This is where all the cultural communities represented at the AfroMonde Festival are called upon to parade through the Old Port of Montreal. Men, women, young and old, all dressed in their traditional costumes and many other accoutrements. It is a costumed and drummed parade where traditional songs and music from each culture represented are sung.
