Seven-time GRAMMY-nominated Cuban virtuoso pianist and composer Omar Sosa, and Senegalese kora master and singer Seckou Keita, present SUBA Trio with the participation of Venezuelan percussionist Gustavo Ovalles, for the first time in Montreal on May 6 and 7 at Le National.

Upon its release in 2021, SUBA TRIO was named one of the best albums of the year by NPR, reached #1 on the Transglobal World Music Chart and received a four-star review in Downbeat magazine, to name a few of the accolades received.

The trio is completed by Gustavo Ovalles who masters a multitude of percussion instruments in an exceptional way.
