Felix Hong

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Felix Hong arrived in Canada in 2012 to pursue his musical studies at McGill University. Afterwards, he completed his Master’s degree in London, at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Felix Hong has been honored several times. In 2016, he was awarded first prize in the Canimex Canadian Music Competition and was a finalist in the Springboard Competition as well as the SAI Competition at the Chautauqua Music Festival. In 2017, he won the Prix d’Europe and was included in the CBC’s list of the 30 hot Canadian classical musicians under 30.

For his recital, Felix Hong presents works by Alexander Scriabin, Nikolai Medtner, and Nikolai Kapustine.
