Bourgie Hall presents

On the Breath of Angels: From the Italian Baroque to Today

The figure of the cornetto player, depicted as an angel-musician in countless Renaissance paintings, was the point of departure which inspired these two exceptional virtuosos. They will perform magnificent 17th-century Italian arias as well as some contemporary works, accompanied by an instrumental ensemble comprising two violins, a viola da gamba, a theorbo, an organ and a harpsichord.
