Dinosaurs were the dominant terrestrial animals throughout the Mesozoic Era. During their remarkable 172-million-year reign, they adapted into a variety of forms from long-necked herbivores to the mighty T. rex! Thanks to continental drift and the land bridges that would appear and disappear from sea-level fluctuations and volcanic activity, dinosaurs eventually populated all corners of the globe, leaving each continent with its own unique assortment of giant reptiles. Dinosaurs Around the World is your front-row ticket to this incredible story!

Dinosaurs ruled the Earth for 172 million years, but where did they come from? How did they make their way to every corner of the planet? How did they communicate with each other? Learn all about them in this new exhibition where you’ll embark on a worldwide expedition exploring all these fascinating questions through a series of highly interactive adventures. Build your own dino then play with paleontologist tools and unearth fossils and then slide down the back of a sauropod and climb the backs of other dinos too. You can even touch a 67-million-year-old fossil with your own hands!

The most exciting part is roaming around the Montréal Science Centre and meeting 20 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs! Their size and their realistic movements will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time to wander the very same ancient landscapes that these gigantic creatures called home.
