Gramophone magazine’s Orchestra of the Year Award

The OSM is proud to be nominated for Gramophone magazine’s Orchestra of the Year Award and to be the only Canadian organization among an outstanding shortlist of international orchestras. Gramophone’s Orchestra of the Year Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the industry and the only one determined by public vote.

The 10 orchestras nominated this year are: Academy of Ancient Music, Accademia Bizantina, Bamberger Symphoniker, Berliner Philharmoniker, The Cleveland Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Philharmonia Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich.
