By day or by night, (re)discover Montreal – Our City

Break away from the routine with Guidatour’s All About Montréal’s Murals tour and Montréal Ghosts’ Traditional Ghost Walk. As the province reopens more fully, here are some unique opportunities for Montrealers to meet up again and rediscover Montreal in a way that is both educational and enjoyable.

Montreal MuralsGuidatour’s President, Angèle Vermette, believes it’s the perfect time to try these activities. “Summer is here to stay, Montreal is now a green zone, and we can finally meet up with friends and family. Why not do something a little bit different by organizing a safe outdoor activity to mark the occasion? We’re inviting people from Montreal and the surrounding areas to follow one of our tours so they can be entertained and surprised by all the treasures of our beautiful city. Not only that, but you’ll be encouraging local tourism at a time when our industry needs it most. It’s good for everyone!”

All About Montreal’s Murals
During the day, in the company of a passionate professional tour guide from Guidatour, discover the origins and scope of mural art in Montreal, and admire the talent of the artists and collectives responsible for the pieces you will see along the way. The tour is focused around St. Laurent Boulevard but takes interesting detours through nearby streets and alleys, which allows you to take in some of Montreal’s most lively and creative murals. The tour lasts two hours and is offered every Saturday at 10:00 am in English, and at 1:30 pm in French. A colourful circuit punctuated with unique and eclectic works of art awaits!

At night, follow an intriguing storyteller as performed by a professional actor, and explore a completely different side of Old Montreal. Listen to their dark and mysterious tales while visiting outdoor locations that have witnessed strange and infamous events: unexplained phenomena, witchcraft, torture, murders. The activity lasts 90 minutes and is intended for ages 12 and up. It’s offered at 8:30 pm in both English and French. This unusual pedestrian circuit through the streets and alleyways of Old Montreal will bring you back to the grim times of New France!
