The team that created Royalmount Drive-In Event Theatre has created a sophisticated people-friendly space for concerts, comedy shows, wedding receptions, family celebrations and corporate events

After successfully producing over 100 events at the Royalmount Drive-In Event theatre and with 35 years of combined event experience, Adam Bultz of C3 Events and Lorne Levitt of Total Events have again partnered to create a new indoor-outdoor space that is unique to Montreal. Designer Charles Kay rounds out the partnership.

“We have separate companies, but Adam and I collaborate on large events locally and around the world. We’ve produced events for Microsoft, Ferrari, TravelBrands, and many high-end luxury brand names. In normal times, we produce over 300 events per year,” says Lorne Levitt during a recent conversation with The Montrealer.

Adam Bultz adds; “After fifteen months of staying at home, Montrealers are looking for something to do and a place to go. We saw an opportunity to create a destination where people can go to have fun, be entertained and feel secure about the current health guidelines and their personal safety. Open air and social distancing are key ingredients to Jardin Royalmont.”

Staring this summer, “Events. Safely Redefined” will be the theme their brand-new event venue, Jardin Royalmount.  The 20,000 sq. ft. open- air garden and theatre has an adjacent 8,000 square foot covered pavilion that features walls that open to the elements. The site is large enough to host hundreds of people in a safe and socially distant way in both its indoor and outdoor configurations.

The space is adaptable to seasonal weather changes, and the developers tell me that they plan to stay open except for the harshest months of the winter.

Jardin Royalmount opened on July 2, and will continue to host public programming throughout the summer and well into the fall. The facility is available to rent for private events of all types. Weddings, celebrations, corporate meetings, product launches, charity fundraisers, and more now have a new and unique venue to use in Montreal. The team recently announced a partnership with evenko, the most important independent promoter and producer in Canada.

Lorne picks up where Adam leaves off; “Adam and I are used to working with top-notch suppliers. While were still developing the concept, we brought in the owner of Modern Event Furniture. Every piece of furniture they produced was designed to be unique and specific to our vision. We did the same thing with our food partner, Société Traiteur – another longtime supplier for our other events. They know what the expectations are for a sophisticated clientele. They have the infrastructure and the expertise to prepare and deliver delicious and ‘fun’ cuisine on a large scale.” Adam continues; “No detail has been overlooked, both unique cuisine and creative cocktails will serve to bring Montrealers together after more than a year apart,”

Jardin Royalmount can flex to accommodate the guidelines and rules of the provincial and municipal governments, as they change according to the vaccine roll out.
