A first: Four web series to enjoy!
For the first time, MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE presents 4 web series, comprised of 22 episodes, available to watch for free as of March 4th at

Autour de la table

“It’s amazing what the festival organizers have managed to put in place to bring a little light and joy to festivalgoers in these difficult times. At Casino de Montréal, we are really happy to support MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE by bringing you the web series At The Table, a project as heartwarming as it is inspiring.” – Jean-Pierre Curtat, Chief Executive, Société des casinos du Québec

La brigade découverte MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE
This year, the festival has recruited some well-known foodies to form the Discovery Brigade. Their mission: to delve into the world of local chefs and producers to find out what they’re passionate about. Unusual encounters with :

Annie-Soleil Proteau savours Caribbean cuisine with Paul Toussaint and Jean-Philippe Vézina
Benoit Roberge samples vegan canteen with Marie-Michelle Bouchard
Félipé St-Laurent discovers plant-based cuisine with Stelio Perombelon

Chef en ébullition
The pandemic has been a particularly challenging time for chefs, but has also provided them with something rather rare in their line of work: plenty of time! Time to experiment, develop and create. So we decided to take this opportunity to put them to the test! Follow your favourite chefs–Antonin Mousseau-Rivard, Simon Mathys,  MJ Guertin, Anita Feng and Dyan Solomon–in a rare behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a new dish. This web series is produced in collaboration with Urbania.

C’est l’heure de l’apéro
presented by the SAQ
Yes, happy hour is still a thing! And what could be better than having after-work drinks with the best in the industry? Hosted by none other than Vincent Sulfite, in this web series we learn about the spirits, wines and sparkling wines of Quebec, as well as flavoured coffee, orange wine and, of course, natural wine. Our host will be talking to Véronique Rivest, Michelle Bouffard, Karyne Duplessis Piché, Rose Simard, Lilian Wolfelsberger de la Distillerie de Montréal,  Éve Rainville and Marc Théberge du Domaine Bergeville. Take a peak at C’est l’heure de l’apéro.

J’adore mon resto

Ever since its first edition back in the year 2000, the festival has made a point of supporting local restaurant owners–and that commitment remains a part of its DNA. In fact, the support campaign for Quebec’s restaurateurs, J’adore mon resto, presented by the SAQ, has been in full swing on social media since January 18th with the official hastag #jadoremonresto.

Air France Finest Tables

Do the days blend into one another and all seem the same? With Air France Finest Tables, the festival is offering foodies the chance to switch up their daily routine with exclusive take-out menus (also available for delivery) created by the chefs of over thirty Montreal restaurants, all of whom are devotees of local produce. The menus will be available from March 4th through 28th. View the list of participating restaurants.
