An original participatory winter experience!

This year, Luminothérapie will deliver something different: a series of luminous, interactive and contemplative works at several locations in the Quartier des Spectacles. Visitors will discover few installations by local artists along a walking route punctuated by comfortable rest areas and winter vegetation. Each evening, a magical sound-and-light moment will ring through the whole city as a show of solidarity with the arts and culture community.

All over the Quartier, discover fascinating interactive, audio and static public artworks. And, each evening at 6 pm, be part of a magical sound-and-light moment to show your appreciation for the cultural scene. Enjoy!

The works include the iconic Loop, created by Olivier Girouard, Jonathan Villeneuve and Ottoblix, which will return to Place des Festivals with new visuals celebrating Quebec literature, thanks to the support of SODEC. Luminothérapie is Quebec’s most important multidisciplinary competition for temporary participatory public art installations. For the last 10 years, it has presented a captivating and original interactive winter experience in the Quartier des Spectacles with a large-scale installation in Place des Festivals.
