Fête des Neiges 2020

The Fête des neiges de Montréal is an outdoor family event that occurs over a span of four consecutive weekends. Every year, thousands of visitors seeking a unique outdoor experience, get together to discover and celebrate the joys of winter.

This year, for its 37th edition, the Fête des neiges invites you to come, for the first time, to Espace 67, Parc Jean-Drapeau’s new event playground. It will be a great opportunity to enjoy a new setting, in a way you’ve never seen the Fête before!

Tube slide
The new Espace 67 made it possible to set up 16 tube-sliding lanes for the first time! From the top of the hill, with a spectacular view of downtown Montreal, you can breeze down the slopes. For the braver sliders, the “Super Slide” lanes enable you to reach record speeds!

Radio-Canada skaters’ path
Come and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience by skating on this refrigerated path that’s more than 300 metres long as it wends its way through the woods along the Saint Lawrence River. It’s a thrilling activity to do once or many times, either by yourself, as a couple or as a family!
Bring your own skates or rent a pair on site!

Ice Ship
Come and roam through this huge ice structure that has slides inside. Captain Crinière and his crew members are waiting for you on their majestic ice ship which has braved the icy waters and weighed anchor at Parc Jean-Drapeau!

Cirque Éloize Alpine Adventure
See the acrobats-adventurers of Cirque Éloize in action on a fun and interactive alpine circuit! Follow their climb to the top of Mont Boule-de-Neige through a series of mind-blowing circus acts!

Fête des NeigesIce sculpture shows
Artist Nicolas Godon will dazzle you with his unique ice sculptures, created in front of your eyes! You’ll be amazed by the performances of this professional ice sculptor

Ninjas Huskies course
Crawl, jump, slide and climb with the Huskies team. Come and have loads of fun doing a friendly run on this course where speed and agility are in order!

Penguins Village
Discover a magical world inhabited by a happy group of penguins who will get tiny tots laughing and moving.

La Boulathèque
The ideal place to sing and dance! Come and follow the charming choreography of our characters, so you can warm up in a festive setting. You’ll also have the opportunity to listen to the greatest hits of our iced karaoke!

Mysnow Experience
Introduce your youngsters to downhill skiing or snowboarding on our mini ski slope. The activity is offered in partnership with the Québec Ski Areas Association. An introductory program for children aged 5-8.

Introduction to snowshoeing with Parks Canada
Come and meet the Parks Canada team for an introductory snowshoeing session while you discover Canadian wildlife. And you’ll be given plenty of tips and ideas so you can take full advantage of the joys of winter.

Snow Castle Challenge
The invitation has gone out! As a family, with friends or among colleagues, — participate in this popular provincial movement that promotes winter physical activity and a healthy lifestyle!

So, come on over and play!
Ten different sports federations are setting up as of January 26 so you can discover their various activities at the Fête des neiges. It’s an ideal opportunity to be introduced to sports such as cross-country skiing, judo, rugby, broom ball or even Kin-Ball!
