Mundial Montreal – North America’s World Music Summit

Four days of festivities, from November 19 to 22, 2019. Throughout the event, over 30 artists from Canada and beyond will showcase their work to the public and professionals alike.

Mundial presents the best of Canada’s world music, as well as some international artists. The artists were chosen because, beyond their artistic quality, we believe they have reached the potential for national and international exposure. Mundial allows artists’ representatives, programmers and other industry professionals to create connections during the 4 days of the event and more particularly during speed-schmoozing where you can then meet the delegates you have targeted.

Making Space – This year’s theme
“By highlighting the work and talent of artists from diverse, under-represented communities and backgrounds, and with an important focus on Indigenous artists, Mundial Montreal has opened doors and changed the financial fortunes of hundreds of artists and their representatives. We aspire to a more tolerant society.  At a time where the world is grappling with immigration and Canada is seen as a beacon of good will, we invite our delegates to fight for the rights of artists and break down barriers. We are proud to continue our mission making space for talent ready for the world.” – Derek Andrews, Artistic Director, Mundial Montreal
