Joy of Life: Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony

The Seventh Symphony, described by Wagner as “the apotheosis of the dance,” is regarded as the most rhythmic of Beethoven’s symphonies. His moving Allegretto was used in a number of movies, most notably The King’s Speech, with Colin Firth.
