SYLVIA SCHWARTZ – OLIVIER GODIN

London-born Spanish soprano Sylvia Schwartz is one of the most fascinating lyric sopranos of her generation. Her interpretation of Schumann’s A Woman’s Love and Life prompted one critic to write, “Though this cycle is so familiar that we thought we knew it by heart, it is sung with such sincerity that we rediscover it afresh.” Youthful lieder by Alban Berg and a bouquet of 20th-century Spanish songs complete the program.
