A Grand Piano Recital devoted to the most beautiful masterpieces of
FRANZ SCHUBERT AND FRANZ LISZT

ALEJANDRA CIFUENTES DIAZ, pianist

Franz Schubert and Franz Liszt are among the best-known and most popular classical composers! But did you know that when Schubert died at the of 31 he had already composed more than 900 pieces? His sonatas and waltzes are musical gems, with enchanting melodies that touch your heart.

Liszt lived a much longer life, only passing away at the age of 75. His considerable works for the piano and his many tours around Europe made him famous. He even produced several transcriptions of Schubert’s works for piano.

During this recital, in a church lit only by candles, you will enjoy sublime piano pieces by these two extraordinary composers!
