The Voice of Fado

The renowned Portuguese singer Antonio Zambujo’s shimmering voice wonderfully renders the beauty and the saudade—or sweet melancholy—of fado. While always remaining close to his roots, he imbues the genre with a touch of atmosphere from Brazil, where his fame soared after Caetano Veloso showered him with praise, dubbing him the “João Gilberto of Portuguese music”. With his five musicians, Zambujo will transform Bourgie Hall into an intimate casa de fado.
