The OSM presents Shostakovich’s crowning achievement, the composer’s last concerto, along with Prokofiev’s Fifth Symphony, one of the most grandiose of his repertoire. Between two concerts in Germany, Jacques Lacombe returns to his native province, bringing with him his enthusiasm and experience to a thrilling concert that pairs these two compelling works.
