Philippe Cassard

Debussy, inspirations and influences

French pianist Philippe Cassard performs a selection of piano works by Debussy along with pieces by composers who are known to have influenced him. The premiere of jazzman Baptiste Trotignon’s tribute appropriately completes this fascinating portrait of a bold and innovative composer who left an indelible mark on the history of the piano.
