Baroque Christmas

The enchantment and wonder of The Nutcracker have warmed the hearts of young and old since its first performance in 1892. Each of its well-known numbers is a familiar symbol of the holiday season. The astonishing Fung-Chiu Duo round out this Christmas Matinee with the evocative Pines of Rome and Ma mère l’Oye , the latter inspired by French 17th-century fairy tales.
