Her work seeks to be both minimalist and frenetic. In Constellation, she uses imagery from the sky and night to examine solitude and its origins. Performers: Eva Kolarova, Kyra Jean Green, Mark Sampson, Márcio Silveira Carte Postale. – Casson & Friends, Tim Casson, London, United Kingdom, 2016, World premiere Dancer, choreographer and professor living in London, Tim Casson has worked for several renowned choreographers including Jasmin Vardimon, Nigel Charnock and Ben Wright. In 2012, he founded the Casson & Friends company, which seeks to create unique and participatory performances. Post Card is an exchange project between the United Kingdom and Quebec and will be presented in an urban context in different locations around Montreal. Tim Casson and his two Montreal accomplice-dancers offer you the fruit of this creative research: a purely Montreal inspiration, a reflection of its inhabitants and its environment. The audience is invited to express themselves through dance movements and ideas, which will be used by dancers to construct a piece. This interactive, innovative, and fully enthusiastic creation celebrates everyone’s imaginary and makes Montreal shine throughout the world. It will be presented in 2018 at DanceEast and Greenwich Dance in the United Kingdom. Sons en corps, corps en son – Estelle Lavoie, Montreal, 2010, 2012, World premiere Estelle Lavoie specializes in West-African dance and music. She has trained with professors from African ballets during her numerous trips abroad. This year, she offers a creation in 5 scenes, which explores Unity through overlapping rhythms, unison, voice, and bodily percussion. Bass, drums and voice are released in electroacoustic sequences and music live on stage. In Sons en corps, corps en son, sound is vibration and the body vibrates by dancing; the body is sound, the sound has body.
