The the Montreal Chamber Music Festival presents

Pablo Casals’ Cello

A unique opportunity to hear the cello played by the legendary Pablo Casals! Israeli cellist Amit Peled is the privileged artist who plays on this great instrument. The repertoire explores the soulful tone and colours of the cello and presents some of the greatest chamber music ever written including Mendelssohn’s String Quintet Op. 87 with the famous French violist of the Ysaye Quartet Miguel da Silva and Brahms’ melodic String Sextet Op. 18.
