Country: Chile It’s the first presence in Montreal for PIROTECNIA SPA Chile, the Chilean branch of a Spanish firm founded in 1998. Since then, on New Year’s Eve, the firm has illuminated the skies of more than 50 cities in Chile. In addition, with the support of its parent company in Barcelona, the Chilean team created pyromusical displays for the opening of the Bicentenary of Chile in 2010, the 10th South-American Games in 2014, and the opening and closing of Copa América Chile in 2015. For the 2016 Montreal competition, PIROTECNIA SPA Chile offers a display that is full of emotions and inspired by the various phases of life, invites the audience to embark on a fascinating musical ride punctuated by a magnificent spectacle of lights and colours.
