A Valentine’s evening with chocolates, love songs, gourmet dinner and lots of fun!

The McGill Chamber Orchestra presents the 3rd edition of its benefit event Chocolate and Love Songs. The evening will take place in the Picasso ballroom of the luxurious Sofitel hotel in Montreal (1155 Sherbrooke Street West), on Sunday, February 14, at 6:30pm. This year’s event, presented by Services Financiers André Azzi Inc., will provide its guests an exceptional experience in a spectacular setting.

Guests will be treated upon arrival with an open bar and appetizers for the cocktail. A three-course gourmet dinner under the theme of chocolate, specially prepared by Olivier Perret, the renowned chef of the Renoir restaurant will be served. For the dessert, chocolatier Jeff de Bruges will present three fine chocolates. Both intimate one-on-one or larger tables are available for the dinner.

Renowned actor and pianist Jean Marchand, who is active on the Montreal artistic scene, will be the Master of Ceremony for the evening. Musicians from the McGill Chamber Orchestra, under the leadership of maestro Boris Brott, will present love songs and arias performed by sopranos Sharon Azrieli Perez and Aline Kutan as well as tenor Antoine Bélanger.

Throughout the evening, a silent auction will offer the guests magnificent prizes, such as a pair of round-trip tickets to Mexico on board Air Canada, a cultural get-away in Québec City and an opera package in Toronto.

To round off the evening in style, DJ Goldstar will have the guests swing their hips to the sound of today’s greatest hits.

Based on previous events, The Valentine’s Gala is an evening of fun and an exceptional networking opportunity; while contributing to promote classical music. Tickets are available for $200 and an income tax receipt will be issued for the permissible amount. Reserve your place before Feb. 5, 2016 by getting in touch with Claudine Jacques at 514-487-5190 or by email: [email protected].
