At the Summit

The SMAM and Ensemble Caprice are joining forces for a festive concert as part of the Montreal Bach Festival. With irrepressible joie de vivre and jubilantly gleaming trumpets, two occasional works by Handel, Ode for the Birthday of Queen Anne and Anthem for the Foundling Hospital, will be heard alongside the Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 by J.S. Bach, and the Magnificat by his son, C.P.E. Bach.
